After his studies as a rescue engineer, Bastian Nagel devoted himself to the topic of fire control systems. In addition to the conceptual design and creation of fire control control matrices, he was responsible for the execution and management of integral tests (full proof tests / basic principle tests) in a Swiss engineering office. Bastian Nagel has been working for Hekatron Vertriebs GmbH since 2015. There he deals in particular with standards and guidelines in the field of plant-technical fire protection; initially as a training consultant and since October 2017 as a specialist in product management. He is a member of the VDI 6010 Part 1 Guidelines Committee as well as other standardization and regulatory bodies.
