Next week, exhibition halls 4 und 4A at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg will once again host fire protection experts from throughout Europe: FeuerTrutz opens on 21 June 2023 with about 250 exhibitors (17% international), who will show the latest trending products for fire prevention and fire containment. Both days of the event will also offer a fascinating accompanying programme with many new highlights and opportunities for networking for manufacturers, installers, fire protection designers, fire safety officers and architects in passive, active and organizational fire protection. And the Fire Protection Congress, organized by RM Rudolf Müller Medien, once again promises a top-level programme.

Once again in 2023, the International Trade Fair with Congress for Preventive Fire Protection will emphasise its importance as one of the key industry meeting places for the European fire protection community: about 250 exhibitors from 17 countries are expected in Nuremberg, and two new trade forums will take the many opportunities for expanding knowledge to a new level. “Together with our partner, RM Rudolf Müller Medien, we have again put together a programme for visitors to FeuerTrutz 2023 who are seeking like-minded individuals,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director FeuerTrutz. “By availing themselves of these opportunities, visitors will keep up to date with the latest trends and be all the richer with many valuable contacts. We are looking forward to two richly varied and highly promising days at the trade fair.” About 1,000 participants are expected at the Fire Protection Congress, being held in parallel as an in-person and online event. “We are once again offering a high-calibre programme of further education for participants, split into three parallel congress streams, focusing on fire protection in existing buildings, risks and concepts for batteries and other energy storage devices, and effective fire protection in modern timber structures,” says André Gesellchen, Head of the Fire Protection Programme at RM Rudolf Müller Medien.

Focus on digitalization and handling of dangerous goods

The highlight topics at the new forum, “A practical guide to digitization”, in Hall 4, Stand 4-123, include creating fire protection strategies using the latest software, digital documentation, digital communication, AI and robotics in fire protection. The forum offers a combination of power pitches, interviews, practical dialogues and product presentations, all fully aligned with the needs of the industry. Another first at FeuerTrutz 2023 will be the “Forum by asecos academy” in Hall 4, Stand 4-440. Live explosions, flash fires and other chemical reactions, combined with well-prepared background knowledge, will provide a vivid demonstration of how to handle hazardous materials safely and correctly. Another feature of this forum, at 13:00 on the first day of the trade fair, is the “Red Sofa” talk round on the subject of “Failure of critical infrastructure”.

Further highlights at FeuerTrutz 2023

In addition to the two new trade forums, visitors can look forward to the following proven highlights:
