For the European fire protection community, FeuerTrutz, taking place in Nuremberg on 26 and 27 June 2024, is the go-to event. FeuerTrutz is the only European trade fair and congress to combine passive, active and organizational fire protection solutions, offering the best overview of the latest trends in fire prevention and fire containment. With about four months still to go, firm bookings already account for around 80 percent of the total exhibition space at last year’s event. Exhibitors now have a final opportunity to arrange their participation. The comprehensive supporting programme is currently being finalized and once again guarantees the perfect mix of knowledge sharing, networking opportunities and experience.

For more than 12 years, NürnbergMesse and RM Rudolf Müller Medien have combined their strengths to organize FeuerTrutz and the accompanying congress. Year after year, they create a platform that always reflects the latest trends in preventive fire protection and answers the most pressing questions of the future. “FeuerTrutz 2024 promises once again to be another unique highlight, despite the challenging conditions in the construction industry,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director FeuerTrutz, NürnbergMesse. “We have refined familiar and popular programme items from previous years, ensuring once again that they are packed full of exciting and current topics. We are now on the home straight. The phenomenal support from the industry ensures we have a strong tailwind: 80 percent of the space from last year has already been booked again. And many start-ups have already registered for the startups@FeuerTrutz pavilion.”

Highlights of the supporting programme at FeuerTrutz 2024

After a very successful first edition at FeuerTrutz 2023, the Forum by asecos begins its second round this year. “Trade fairs are increasingly characterized by the quality of their supporting programme,” explains Marc Sommer, Team Leader Trade Fairs & Events at asecos GmbH. On two half-days, the asecos academy will provide first-hand expertise on topics such as risk assessment and the hotly debated topic of labelling, handling, storage and disposal of lithium-ion batteries. A special highlight of the programme will be the asecos experimental lecture, which will demonstrate the handling of hazardous substances in the form of easy-to-follow live experiments. As usual, the two remaining half-days will be available for exhibitors to give their specialist presentations.

A fascinating combination of power interviews, practical dialogues and product presentations on the topic of digitalization awaits visitors at the Forum A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION. Here, companies will share their practical experience of how they are already successfully implementing digitalization in their processes and products. The forum is therefore 100% geared to the requirements of the specialist trade and offers exciting added value for both digital newcomers and those who have already achieved initial success with their digitalization process.

At the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE, visitors can watch exciting live fire protection demonstrations, both indoors at individual exhibition stands and in the large outdoor action area, and experience products and solutions in action firsthand.

The joint pavillion startups@FeuerTrutz enables startups and young companies, to present themselves and their product innovations to the specialist public at an organized joint stand at FeuerTrutz.  All information and conditions can be found at:

The Training & Career Meeting Point offers great opportunities for young skilled workers or those looking for further training. This is where various training and further education institutes will present their further training opportunities in the field of preventive fire protection.

FeuerTrutz Fire Protection Congress 2024

The Fire Protection Congress, organized by RM Rudolf Müller Medien and taking place in parallel with FeuerTrutz, offers an unequalled range of expert presentations from the fields of passive, active and organizational fire protection. This is aimed at providing the greatest possible practical benefit for planners, inspectors and employees of the authorities.

The top congress topics in 2024 are:

  • A practical check of the new Timber Construction Directive
  • How fire protection works in existing buildings
  • Sustainability aspects in fire protection planning

As part of the Congress, RM Rudolf Müller Medien is also organizing three compact seminars on the most important areas of active fire protection. These include a seminar on fire detection technology, one on extinguishing technology in cooperation with the Federal Association for Technical Fire Protection (Bundesverband Technischer Brandschutz, bvfa), and one on smoke extraction.
