FeuerTRUTZ 2017 ended bigger and more international than ever

Record attendance at FeuerTRUTZ 2017.

In its seventh edition, FeuerTRUTZ once again consolidated its position as the leading dialogue platform for fire protection professionals.
On 22 and 23 February, 275 exhibitors (244 in 2016) from 14 countries (nine in 2016) made the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg the biggest hot spot in Europe for fire protection professionals. More than 7,000 (6,397 in 2016) trade visitors came to Nuremberg to get the latest information about passive, active and organisational fire protection solutions. The Fire Protection Congress was also a success once again and, with more than 1,300 delegates (1,150 in 2016), reached more industry specialists than ever.

In particular, the greater international participation is impressive proof of the growing significance of FeuerTRUTZ”, says Stefan Dittrich, Executive Director FeuerTRUTZ, NürnbergMesse. At FeuerTRUTZ 2017, knowledge-sharing was once again an important aspect and a significant feature of the equally popular Fire Protection Congress and this year’s three Compact Seminars. “The huge response shows us that the concept of FeuerTRUTZ is hitting the mark with the fire protection industry,” says congress organiser Günter Ruhe from FeuerTRUTZ Network about the successful combination of trade fair and congress.

FeuerTRUTZ with extensive supporting programme

The extensive supporting programme at FeuerTRUTZ was also a winning formula. The Compact Seminar “Fire protection in finishing work” was aimed at construction managers and specialist contractors. The seminar “Fire Protection in Bavaria – Changes to Bavarian fire protection regulations” provided architects and representatives of public agencies with information on the latest changes in fire protection legislation in Bavaria. A new addition to the programme was the two-day seminar “Fire Protection DIRECT Extinguishing Technology” by the bvfa (Federal Association for Technical Fire Protection), which focused on technical issues relating to sprinklers and fire extinguishing systems. More than 220 participants in total attended the Compact Seminars. At the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE, exhibitors presented their solutions as live demonstrations at the outdoor Demonstration area and inside the venue. Exhibitor Forums in both exhibition halls provided information on products and trends, while career starters, career changers and seasoned professionals gathered at the Training & Career Meeting Point, the pavilion for training providers. Featuring 13 exhibitors, it was even bigger than in previous years.

FeuerTRUTZ 2018: a date for your diary!

The next FeuerTRUTZ will take place on 21 and 22 February 2018 at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.
