There are already clear occupational health and safety guidelines that help us to handle lithium-ion batteries safely. These rules and guidelines can help companies to minimise hazards and comply with safety standards. But the question remains: What is the status of uniform standardization for storage and charging equipment? There is still a lot to clarify here, as different standards and specifications exist. A clear and standardized specification would be an important step towards ensuring safety and efficiency. In this presentation, we will take a look at the current state of affairs at European level and look at the regulations currently in force.
