The 15th round of FeuerTrutz impressed exhibitors and trade visitors alike.
A total of 266 exhibitors from 22 countries showcased their solutions on a 7,362 m² display area (up from 7,127 m² in 2024), sending out a strong message despite major challenges in the construction industry. The trade fair for preventive fire protection attracted around 6,600 trade visitors from 46 countries, including an international contingent of around 10 percent. The supporting programme also proved extremely popular. This year, it added exciting new features such as the FeuerTrutz Arena and “Drywall Day”. The long-established fire protection congress impressed participants with its high-calibre content and lively discussions.
Phillip Blass, Exhibition Director of FeuerTrutz, was incredibly pleased with the outcomes: “FeuerTrutz 2025 represented a successful start for me as the new exhibition director. The positive mood in the halls and the strong commitment shown by the community have convincingly demonstrated that preventive fire protection is a vibrant and forward-thinking sector. Once again, the trade fair proved to be the key platform for dialogue, innovation and networking, within Germany and internationally. Together with our longstanding partner RM Rudolf Müller Medien, we were able to put together a strong overall package that was a big hit with the sector.”
Supporting programme enlarged
The new Drywall Day met with considerable interest. Practical insights, professional exchanges and a guided tour made it a valuable enhancement to the trade fair programme. Another new feature was the FeuerTrutz Arena, which provided a hub for experts to discuss preventive fire protection, e.g. in discussion panels or during get-togethers. As in previous years, visitors could also attend the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE, the PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION sessions, and the Forum by asecos academy, as well as various presentations, live indoor and outdoor demonstrations, and lectures featuring live experiments. The three pavilions “Young Innovators”, “International Startup Area” and “Training & Career Meeting Point” were a major drawcard. Many participants took advantage of the FeuerTrutz after-work event in the Max Morlock stadium to talk to one another and expand their networks in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Knowledge enhancement at the Fire Protection Congress
In 2025, the Fire Protection Congress was once again a key component of FeuerTrutz. Around 40 presentations offered the 1,365 delegates (including around 260 attending online) the latest knowledge on topics such as fire protection concepts, protecting existing buildings, timber construction, and fire-fighting equipment. André Gesellchen, Head of the Fire Protection Programme at RM Rudolf Müller Medien, concludes: “For a long time now, the Fire Protection Congress has been more than a mere knowledge platform – it is the key gathering place for the industry to openly discuss current challenges, tackle critical issues, and work together to develop solutions. The substantial number of participants shows how relevant these exchanges are.” The themed trade fair tours for congress visitors, which successfully established the link between theory and practice, were booked out immediately.
