FeuerTrutz 2026 once again impressed exhibitors and trade visitors. The international trade fair, accompanied by a fire safety conference, attracted approximately 6,900 trade visitors on 24 and 25 June at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. This represents a significant increase in attendance compared to the 6,600 trade visitors the previous year. A total of 248 exhibitors showcased their products and services, underscoring the event’s central importance for preventive fire protection. The fire protection conference also received a very positive response once again, with 1,394 participants.
The positive and professional atmosphere was clearly evident throughout both days of the trade show. In the halls, at the demonstration areas, and during the numerous program events, there were lively discussions, information-sharing, and networking. Phillip Blass, director FeuerTrutz, sums it up: “FeuerTrutz 2026 demonstrated once again just how vibrant the professional exchange within the industry is. The openness and commitment we witnessed here were impressive. My thanks go to everyone involved and to our partner, RM Rudolf Müller Medien, for two thoroughly successful days of the event.”
A successful supporting program offering variety and practical relevance
The tried-and-true combination of trade show, fire safety conference, and supporting program proved successful once again this year. Exhibitors showcased the full range of solutions in preventive fire safety, while the conference program provided in-depth analysis and discussion of current topics.
In addition to the Fire Protection Congress, the FeuerTrutz Arena in particular served as a central venue for expert presentations and discussions and was consistently well-attended.
In addition, the focus was on practical experiences. The “ERLEBNIS Brandschutz” (Fire Protection Experience) was further expanded and, with additional live demonstrations both indoors and outdoors, offered vivid insights into materials, systems, and fire suppression technologies. This allowed visitors to experience preventive fire protection firsthand.
With the new “ZUKUNFTSRAUM” area, the program was also expanded to include a format specifically focused on future developments in fire protection. Topics such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new work environments were addressed here and explored in presentations and discussions.
At the FeuerTrutz Studio, industry experts and speakers from the conference addressed current issues related to fire safety. They also presented innovative product solutions.
Expanding knowledge at the Fire Protection Congress
The Fire Protection Congress was once again a central component of FeuerTrutz in 2026 and drew a very positive and growing response, with 1,394 participants (249 of whom attended online). About 40 expert presentations addressed current industry topics, including fire protection concepts and the technical planning of building systems, fire protection in existing buildings and in wood construction, developments in building codes and standards, as well as opportunities and challenges in the use of artificial intelligence in planning, testing, and evaluation.
Participants particularly appreciated the combination of knowledge transfer and direct exchange. Thematic tours complemented the program and bridged the gap between theory and practice. André Gesellchen, Head of the FeuerTrutz program at RM Rudolf Müller Medien, summarized: “The Fire Protection Congress is and remains the central meeting place for the industry. The renewed increase in attendance shows how important professional exchange and the joint analysis of current topics are.”
Networking in a summery atmosphere
In addition to the professional program, personal interaction also played a central role. The FeuerTrutz After Work once again proved to be one of the highlights of the event: The sold-out evening offered a perfect setting for conversations, networking, and industry discussions in a summery atmosphere.
Other networking formats were also used extensively and helped to deepen the professional dialogue beyond the exhibition booths.
FeuerTrutz will remain in Nuremberg for the long term
The extension of the successful collaboration between NürnbergMesse and RM Rudolf Müller Medien sends an important signal for the future. The partnership has been extended through at least 2031—meaning that the Nuremberg Exhibition Center will continue to serve as the venue for FeuerTrutz and as a hub for preventive fire protection.
Save the Date: The next FeuerTrutz will take place in Nuremberg from 16 to 17 June 2027.
