FeuerTrutz 2026: Supporting Program Focuses on Practical Applications, Knowledge Exchange, and Expert Analysis

With a carefully expanded supporting program, FeuerTrutz 2026 emphasizes practical knowledge transfer and relevant industry dialogue. New formats and additional live demonstrations provide context for current developments and future requirements in preventive fire protection.

On 24 and 25 June 2026, the fire protection industry will gather at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center for FeuerTrutz. In addition to a diverse range of exhibitors, visitors can look forward to a comprehensive supporting program featuring expert presentations, panel discussions, and practical live demonstrations. Especially against the backdrop of a tight construction market, the event remains stable and is developing solidly at the previous year’s level. With a carefully refined supporting program, FeuerTrutz offers specialist planners, experts, government agencies, and representatives from industry and contractors a reliable platform for information, professional analysis, and personal exchange.

The supporting program combines in-depth expertise with practical formats and addresses key issues in preventive fire protection.

FeuerTrutz Arena

In addition to the Fire Protection Congress, FeuerTrutz Arena serves as the central hub for expert presentations, industry insights, and discussion panels. Here, current topics in preventive fire protection are addressed and examined from various perspectives. The focus includes, among other things, standards and regulatory developments, new solutions in structural and systems-based fire protection, as well as requirements related to planning, construction, and operation.

The combination of expert presentations and dialogue-oriented formats fosters exchange within the industry and makes it possible not only to present developments but also to discuss them in their practical context.

Forum by asecos academy: Knowledge for everyday operations

The Forum by asecos academy specifically supplements the supporting program with practical content. The focus is on issues related to workplace fire safety and the safe handling of hazardous substances. Topics range from risk assessments within companies to requirements for the storage of hazardous substances and the handling of lithium-ion batteries.

In addition to the Industry Insights, highlights include, in particular, a live experimental presentation that vividly illustrates the risks involved in handling hazardous substances. In addition, Oliver Cortes from Mannheimer Versicherung will discuss the safe handling of lithium-ion batteries from the perspective of a fire insurer and highlight which risks are particularly relevant in the event of a claim. This links theoretical knowledge with practical experience and makes the importance of safe processes in everyday work tangible.

The Fire Protection EXPERIENCE

At the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE outdoor demonstration area, visitors can experience fire prevention firsthand. In 2026, this program will be expanded: For the first time, four fire tests—instead of the previous two—will be conducted outdoors. This will give visitors additional opportunities to experience how materials, systems, and fire suppression technologies behave in the event of a fire. The program is complemented by indoor demonstrations in the exhibition halls, where exhibitors showcase their solutions in action.

New Format: ZUKUNFTSRAUM powered by Hekatron

With Zukunftsraum (Future Space), FeuerTrutz 2026 is expanding its supporting program to include an interactive area dedicated to cross-cutting future topics. This space addresses developments that will shape preventive fire protection in the future—including digital applications, artificial intelligence, and issues related to skilled workers and new work environments. The content is presented in a practical manner through lectures and discussions and contextualized in terms of its implications for planning and operations. In addition, exhibiting companies demonstrate how they are already putting these future-oriented topics into practice today.

Other highlights: Startups, workshops, and networking

The supporting program is complemented by initiatives that foster dialogue within the industry and introduce new perspectives. At the fully booked startups@FeuerTrutz joint stand, a total of 13 young companies from Germany and Europe will present their approaches and solutions. They will highlight the areas in which preventive fire protection is currently evolving.

The FeuerTrutz STUDIO will make its debut in 2026. In this mobile video studio located directly on the exhibition grounds, short interviews with exhibitors and industry experts will be recorded. The segments will address current topics in preventive fire protection, provide context, and make them visible beyond the trade show through digital channels.

Personal interaction also remains a central component of the event: In 2026, FeuerTrutz After Work will take place for the first time directly in the Messepark and thus right in the heart of the trade fair action. In a summery atmosphere, this traditionally sold-out evening event offers an ideal setting for networking. Together, exhibitors, conference participants, and trade show visitors will round off the first day of the trade show with live music, cocktails, and grilled delicacies. This event will be complemented by additional formats such as the Happy Hour in the FeuerTrutz Arena on the second day of the trade show.

Fire Protection Congress

The FeuerTrutz Fire Protection Congress will take place concurrently with the trade fair, enriching the supporting program with in-depth technical discussions on current industry topics.
The diverse presentations will address key issues in preventive fire protection. These include, among others:

  • Fire safety plans and the technical design of building services systems
  • Fire safety in existing buildings and in wood construction
  • Current developments in building codes and standards
  • Opportunities and Challenges in the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Planning, Testing, and Evaluation

In addition, the program addresses current challenges, such as the integration of new energy systems like photovoltaics and lithium-ion batteries, as well as the use of digital technologies and reused building products in fire protection.
It also covers specific application areas—such as critical infrastructure or buildings with special uses, like hospitals.
