AI-based systems offer an innovative solution here. With the help of image processing and machine learning, these systems can independently analyse large amounts of data and detect the smallest deviations from the standard specifications. For example, cracks in fire protection coatings, corrosion on pipework or defective components on smoke detectors can be identified automatically.
