News on the regulation of PFAS in fire extinguishing foams and their significance for mobile fire protection

Current information on ECHA's PFAS ban directive and related regulations according to the latest information. TOTAL Feuerschutz, a Johnson Controls company, is prepared for the expected PFAS regulations and offers fluorine-free and sustainable solutions. With the SX green K series, TOTAL Feuerschutz is setting new standards in sustainable and maintenance-friendly mobile firefighting. With the combined cartridge technology, which is unique among fluorine-free foam appliances, the extinguishing components - pure water and foam concentrate - are separated until charging. This means that the fire extinguisher cartridges can be replaced individually disposed of separately. The water from the appliance can be safely disposed of in the sewage system. This also convinced FeuerTrutz and the public jury, who voted the SX green K onto the shortlist for Product of the Year.
