Interview with Stefan Dittrich: Insights into FeuerTrutz 2024
On 26 and 27 June, FeuerTrutz 2024 will come under the spotlight with innovative solutions and products for fire prevention and containment. Experts from all over Europe will gather to network and discuss the latest trends and challenges in fire protection. Stefan Dittrich, Director of FeuerTrutz at NürnbergMesse, gives us some insights into the preparations and highlights the most important aspects for visitors.
Mr Dittrich, FeuerTrutz 2024 starts in just a few weeks. Can you give us some insights into the status of preparations and how the trade fair is evolving this year?
Stefan Dittrich: All parties are eagerly anticipating the two-day event. And that’s hardly surprising, as the preparations are going extremely well. Working with our partner RM Rudolf Müller Medien, we have once again put together an extensive programme. The huge interest on the part of exhibitors underlines the importance of the event for the sector: We’ve received confirmations from all major industry players. There’s been a substantial increase in display area, so we can look forward to the biggest FeuerTrutz ever this year. The number of international exhibitors is consistently high, which once again makes FeuerTrutz the most important international platform for preventive fire protection.
How important is the international participation for FeuerTrutz 2024?
The international contingent is a key component of FeuerTrutz. This year, we are welcoming exhibitors from 22 countries, which makes the trade fair an important international anchor point. This broad geographical representation fosters knowledge sharing and innovations across national borders and enables participants to gain insights into various solutions and products in the field of preventive fire protection.
What highlights can visitors to FeuerTrutz particularly look forward to this year?
The supporting programme again offers a diverse blend of expert input on hotly debated topics and exciting live experiences. The highlights include the forum by asecos academy on both days of the fair that provides professional expertise on topics like risk assessment, marking, handling, storage, disposal or lithium-ions. Informative live demonstrations will show the proper way to handle hazardous substances. As in the past, the afternoons are allocated to exhibitor presentations. We are expecting the usual huge response to the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE, which offers exciting fire protection demonstrations on the large outdoor demonstration area and indoor exhibitor stands. Other highlights that visitors can look forward to include the PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION Forum, the startups@FeuerTrutz Pavilion, the Training & Career Meeting Point and the FeuerTrutz Fire Protection Congress. The programme therefore offers something for everyone!
