FeuerTRUTZ 2017: This industry event continues to grow

The seventh round of FeuerTRUTZ will take place at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg on 22 and 23 February 2017. Europe's largest trade event for preventive fire protection, which last year welcomed 244* exhibitors, is highly popular with vendors of passive, active and organisational fire protection solutions. Six months ahead of the fair, significantly more registrations have been received from Germany and other countries than in the same period before the previous event. At FeuerTRUTZ 2017, trade visitors can look forward to a comprehensive supporting programme including compact seminars, concise presentations in exhibitor forums and a dedicated display area for training and professional development. One new feature is the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE, which combines informative presentations with spectacular live demonstrations on a special demonstration area. In 2017, the concurrent fire protection congress will have the theme "Preventive Fire Protection 4.0 – Navigating Trends and Technology in Fire Safety".

For fire protection designers, certified experts, architects, construction engineers and fire safety specialists, FeuerTRUTZ has become established as the leading industry event within the space of just a few years. For the next round, the organisers are reporting numerous first-time registrations and a lot of orders for larger stands. Compact seminars offer trade visitors an additional opportunity for in-depth knowledge-sharing and will include sessions on fire protection in interior construction and fire safety in Bavaria.

The last event yet again underscored the importance of FeuerTRUTZ as the leading event for the sector. FeuerTRUTZ continued its positive development in 2016 with record-breaking totals of 244 exhibitors and almost 6,400 trade visitors.

Supporting programme offers numerous opportunities to get involved

At FeuerTRUTZ 2017, companies and organisations will get to the heart of the latest professional expertise through concise presentations in the exhibitor forums. The Training & Career Meeting Point offers training and professional development providers the ideal environment for reaching trade visitors with an interest in career and training opportunities in the preventive fire protection sector. To provide additional support to companies with product presentation, the Fire Protection EXPERIENCE gives exhibitors a special platform for live demonstrations of all kinds, from fire barriers to emergency guidance systems. The focus will be on product presentations and live demonstrations on the outdoor demonstration area as well as indoor presentations at the various stands.

Preventive Fire Protection Congress explores technology and trends

On the theme "Preventive Fire Protection 4.0. – Navigating Trends and Technology in Fire Safety", the FeuerTRUTZ Congress will explore the latest developments in the industry such as increasing networking and integration in preventive fire protection. The 2017 event will also report on the public perception of fire protection, initial experiences with the MindBauRL
(Model Directive on Structural Fire Protection in Industrial Buildings), the latest amendments e.g. in MLAR 2017 (Model Directive on Cable Systems),
the implementation of the new MBO (Model Building Code) and the Administrative Regulation - Technical Building Code.
